The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) is the national trade promotion agency of Malaysia under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

 

MATRADE serves as a bridge for foreign business communities who are interested in exploring trade and investment opportunities with Malaysia and facilitates the development of trade opportunities and investment potential for Malaysian companies abroad.

 

MATRADE also actively involved in assisting foreign companies to source for suppliers of Malaysian products and services, and is represented worldwide at more than 40 locations in major commercial cities. In Malaysia, MATRADE has five local branches in Penang, Terengganu, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak.

 

For Hong Kong and Macau, MATRADE is represented through the Consulate General of Malaysia – Trade Section in Hong Kong.
